Hook-N-Horns is home to a wide variety of wildlife and it is HNH’s upmost priority to implement the highest level of responsible hunting practices. Their goal is to ensure healthy and sustainable wildlife populations for future generations.
Due to this proper management the overall quality and size of the deer population has grown significantly as evidenced by this year's harvest of mature bucks weighing up to 260 lbs. The ranch utilizes food plots, protein feeders and ultimately appropriate harvesting of bucks and does to maintain a vibrant deer population.
Turkey hunting is a new hobby of the Scott family and they have harvested several jakes and one gobbler in the first season of turkey hunting. Since then they have harvested several mature gobblers. Finally, dove hunting is plentiful at Hook-N-Horns Ranch with a high success rate of hunters collecting their daily bag limit. In the future, HNH is hoping to develop wetlands to provide duck hunting opportunities.
Currently, Hook-N-Horns is only equipped for hunting by invitation only, but in the future guided hunts may be available led by Chad Scott.
